Printing your image properly on to the right sticker material to fit your use case can take a lot of skills and understanding of the product. Not every printers will not guide you through the entire process for these tiny prints.

For every client that emails us wanting to print stickers, we ask for their use case and ideally, as much specifics about their sticker printing purpose as possible. It may seem longwinded and too troublesome, but surely it beats ending up with an ill-suited sticker print? We aim to provide one of the best sticker printing experience in Singapore – to be Singapore businesses’ prime choice of contact for sticker printing. Competition on pricing alone may not always yield the best result for customers, especially when they get cheap items that do not really fit them well! This is the whole point of customising sticker prints! Many businesses do not require stickers daily, so it is important to get them right for the little times when it is needed!

Our stickers are typically printed from A3 sticker sheets. They can be printed as-is and sold wholesale to customers without additional cutting cost. Additional processing can be done to the printed stickers, such as cutting, to improve usability and ease of distribution. Every additional process is additional cost to the sticker printing. Thus for really small quantities of sticker printing that do not need to have a perfect professional look, or prototype tests – we may recommend our customers to do their own cutting! It saves the customers’ money and we can complete the order quicker!

Temporary Tattoo Sticker (Printing Material)
Our tattoo sticker is one of the cheapest on market. For smaller quantity, we usually recommend clients to print on sheet form, to save on cost and due to small quantity, cutting with hand would not be a lot of excessive work. Typically our tattoo stickers can last for 3-5 days on the skin after application under normal usage.

Mirrorkote Sticker (Printing Material)
The mirrorkote sticker is one of our only two paper based sticker material. It is glossy coated in nature to help attract attention despite its cheap price point. Being paper based, it is also the least durable in our sticker material range. The cheaper cost however puts it in a good position to be widely used anywhere – as not all sticker use case will require an exceedingly long shelf life. Despite being gloss coated, the mirrorkote sticker can be written on with pencil, pen, or marker. All it takes is a short while for the ink to dry. The mirrorkote sticker is also condensation proof, and it is this property that makes it a good choice for food packaging product sticker, as our ink does not smudge from the little water droplets formed on the packaging surface. A huge amount of sticker use case also is such that the importance of the printed message decreases with importance over a fixed period of time, which is why mirrorkote is our most popular sticker, especially when factoring in cost – which is a decider for business feasibility.

Synthetic Sticker (Printing Material)
Our synthetic pp waterproof sticker is the start of a long line of sticker products that is waterproof. It is however the cheapest of the range due to the lack of lamination, which can be a hindrance for use cases like essential oil product label – where the product can damage the print on the sticker.

PVC Sticker (Printing Material)
Most of our higher range of laminated stickers are in one way or another, variants of PVC Sticker with a different base / use case. The white PVC is the most basic type that is most versatile. We also have a transparent PVC sticker, while handy, can be a little tricky to use properly – that is why our team here exist to guide you.

Holographic Sticker (Printing Material)
Holographic Stickers are another type of PVC Sticker with a much different base – this sticker reflect ‘rainbow like’ color upon contact with light at a certain angle. It is therefore sometimes tempting to ‘overuse’ it, which caution should be exercised, as we dont want the holographic light to bounce underneath all prints.

Window Sticker (Printing Material)
We have the removable PVC sticker as the window sticker. It’s glue is less sticky than the regular PVC, thus the lesser tendency to leave stain upon removal.

Floor Sticker (Printing Material)
Floor sticker is our most sticky material, as it is meant to be able to withstand thousands of walking and brushing against on a daily basis.

Printed Stickers Finishing
Cutting of printed sticker comes in various form – kiss-cut, individual cut or die cut. If cost is a concern, then we would recommend as little processing as possible.

Kiss-cut sticker printing have stickers peelable immediately from the sheet of sticker material. The good thing is, it is our cheapest form of sticker processing. The bad thing is that it comes in usually A4 sheets (or in rare cases, A3 sheets), which can make sticker distribution difficult.

Individually cut sticker printing is the second most expensive type of sticker processing – this is suitable for individual distribution, but without a care for the exact shape – which would often be rectangular in nature. It serves its purpose at a mid price point.

Die-cut sticker printing is the most expensive option available. The shape can be further customised to give off a high class feel – thus the additional cost.

Under normal circumstance, we like to recommend individual cutting for sticker printing distribution purposes – it is more cost efficient and also takes nothing away from the sticker shape itself once it is pasted upon the intended surface, breaking the wallet may not always yield the best result!

Sticker Shapes
There is almost no limit in the shape that printed stickers can be cut into – as long as they are not overly jagged – as the jagged edge would cause the sticker to be prone to unintended tears during peeling from the backing paper.

Square stickers are the cheapest sticker printing shape, but may not always be the best option. Just like how trees are round shaped to let wind and gust pass through, the same physics logic applies for stickers stuck upon a surface that has reasonable amount of friction.

Thus, for high contact surface, we often recommend the rounded corner rectangular sticker. To go circular or rounded corner would be a matter of aesthetic and fitting-to-design. Circular stickers are also an easy win in beautiful design without putting in too much work – but at the same time sacrificing precious space.

Custom shaped stickers are possible but most expensive as their level of customisation is the highest – down to the way they peel off the sticker print. They can be popular in sticker sets, where a company print marketing material with many different stickers on the same sheet of A6 or A5 sticker to be distributed, mostly during event or a give-away.

File format
We are usually not picky about file formats and can accept the commonly used methods of image files out there. The key thing however is that sticker artwork files need to be 300dpi or above, otherwise the print will not be optimal and not what you expect.

Color Accuracy
At Magic Print, we do our best to print the stickers exactly the way the customers envisioned. However as with all digital and analogue processes, an error of margin that take way too much to correct can be present. We seek your understanding when that happens, but will try to do our best to make sure the variant is not too much.
