Sticker Shapes – why bother?

Printed sticker sheet are almost always further processed to fit the client’s requirements. Stickers, as-is, in sheet form, would not have a lot of use, or at least not look appealing nor professional enough. It is therefore important that we cut them into smaller bits that are more palatable ; or fit onto their product and item snugly – like they already are a part of the product out-of-the-factory!

This is when shape matters. One of the most common uses of stickers are to have their shape depict that of the logo of the company. Some logo are simple – round shape. Some are more complex, for example star shape. Other use of stickers are for instruction labels, and those tend to take the rectangular shape more often.

Why the fuss when you can just print on a square/rectangular sticker?

In fact, we even encourage it as it is a win-win, especially when one is low on budget! However, as with most businesses progress, develop and evolve, it would not be a surprise for the management to ‘want their brand appear in a better light’, and this includes removing as much ‘idle white’ in the stickers as possible, that are not relevant to the logo nor messaging.

With highly customised stickers, a business’s corporate image is further elevated, giving the feel that the entire product is bespoke to the company.

For gifts that fit a certain marketing purpose, sticker sets are deployed instead. The sticker sets can comprise of all the above mentioned shapes, though the higher starting cost usually cause clients to pick custom shape for everything in the pack.
